The unique and patented pawl design enhances the capabilities of the hoist allowing all four pawls to engage with the ratchet gear in an offset configuration allowing finer adjustment and tensioning capability while maintaining pawl/ratchet engagement. This improves the hoists:

The William Hackett L5 QP lever hoist offers a working load limit range from 800kg to 10t, with light load capability tested and certified at 2% of its rated capacity. Its brake material is sintered/fused directly onto the ratchet gear, minimizing potential contaminant ingress and enhancing brake performance. Safety latches on both top and bottom hooks ensure secure closure, with overload and traceability marks for compliance. The hoist is designed for fleeting and cross hauling applications up to 45°, with load chain meeting international standards.
