G-Saver fall arrester with rescuewinch

The G-Saver II is a retractable fall arrest device that includes a combined rescue winch, which can be used to raise or lower the user to safety in the event of a fall. When the steel cable is pulled out at an accelerating rate, a speed of 1.5 m/sec triggers the braking system, arresting and cushioning the fall. Once the fall is arrested, the winch mechanism can be engaged and the user can be lifted or lowered to safety. This eliminates the need for additional equipment to rescue the user and prevents them from being suspended for a long time while waiting for other help.

After the suspended load is removed and the winch mechanism disengaged, the cable automatically retracts in the unit, regaining its fall arrest function. The G-Saver II can be mounted vertically or horizontally, in addition to being used with the G-Tripod.
